Fastball | 50 | 60 | 89-94 | 96 | Has some inconsistent late life in the zone; arm-side tail and occasional sink. Flattens out up in the zone, but has some reach-back velocity. Will show occasional cutter, but all back-door to lefties. Struggles to pitch to spots; well below-average command. See more velo and life playing up in a bullpen role |

Overall Summary
Athletic RHR with quick, compact arm action that plays up above-average arm strength. He creates some angle, keeps the ball on the ground, and has the ability to generate some life in zone with the fastball. Lacks command and feel with all pitches right now, but has a relatively low-maintenance delivery and has the athleticism to eventually repeat better. Changeup is his best secondary, and creates deception when located down. Curveball is very inconsistent, but see some improvement coming and should get to average. Below-average fastball command and below-average feel of his secondary will limit his pitchability and keep him from being effective multiple times through a lineup. See him being more consistent in shorter stints where he can just let it fly and does not have to try and throttle up/down. Battled through control issues and didn't back down. Three years removed from Tommy John surgery at this point and command/control has not developed as hoped, but see some ingredients there and he is a decent "late-bloomer" candidate.
