Overall Summary
Oozing with athleticism (shortstop coming up), Jones has the potential to be a plus offensive contributor while patrolling center field. He'll contribute across the board rather than just one dominant skill. He is still getting use to reading fly balls and taking the most efficient angles, so there's room for improvement. There's bound to be some growing pains, but his plus range to both sides, and arm will translate well in the outfield. His plus bat speed coupled with his foot speed will keep him an intriguing power/speed threat. Ultimately, his tool set profiles better in a corner outfield spot, but he has the speed and athleticism to allow him to stay in center field. There's still strides to be made with his approach at the plate, but suspensions and position changes have been major hindrances. Looks to have turned the page and will hit enough to stay in the top half (1-6) of the lineup with 20 home run / 20 stolen potential.
