Fastball
Fastball 60 60 93-95 96 Easy velo, ball jumps, late life in the zone and really takes off when he's able to locate down. Has some tail with occasional sink. Gets flat run and ride when up. Will use a cutter as well w/ small, late dart and hold velo. Gets some angle for his size. Command is a major issue, struggles to repeat offering with life down in zone; will miss out over the plate often. See velo and life playing up in short stints out of the pen.

Curveball
Curveball 45 45 81-82 82 11-to-5 shape; majority showed big shape - start early; has to back off to throw for strikes. Showed some above average, hard finish later in the outing; good arm action with it. Usability plays down due to lack of feel. Can find it for short stretches.

Overall Summary
RHRP with well-below average command/feel of a power fastball and power curveball He is not a max effort guy, free and easy velo, with life in the zone; gets on hitters when located. Ability to get to glove side, but inconsistent execution. Curveball is firm, but will show a big shape. Showed above average for put-away, but usability is an issue due to lack of feel. Big swing-and-miss numbers; averaged 10.9 K/9 at Double-A and Triple-A 2014-15. Can be tough to square up when he's on. Self-inflicted wounds; walks guys and has tendency towards fly balls. Has ability to put hitters away when up in count, will get some chase. Like the stuff, easy arm action and low maintenance mechanics; chance to find some consistency with control in shorter stints. Late-bloomer candidate.
