Slider
Slider 40 50 82-85 87 3/4 break with depth; showed average bite. Throws for strikes, but inconsistent action and will get loose at times. Arm speed plays it up slightly. Looks comfortable using it when up in the count, but does not have the feel/confidence to use in fastball counts. Ingredients for average are there, so has a chance to improve - but execution is poor.

Overall Summary
RHRP with a power arm and a chance for an average breaking ball. Fastball command is his main issue and he lacks the execution to battle back from bad counts. He creates good angle and the late life on the fastball makes him hard to barrel up. There is some "effectively wild" to this kid. Most of his trouble is self-inflicted via the base-on-ball rate. Inconsistent nature of the slider can make him predictable. However, even with that he manages to keep the fastball off the barrel. Bit of a mature arm, and not a ton of projection left, but has present ingredients. Fastball command will have to click for him to reach his ceiling, but will be a six-year free agent this offseason and would consider signing him to an MiLB contract.
