Overall Summary
Blewett is a tall, broad pitcher, who will be able to handle a starter's workload due to his size and strength. Presently, his command is well-below average but he repeats his delivery, and he has the athleticism for it to improve to an average level as he racks up professional innings. Blewett features a low-90s fastball that he can work to both sides of the plate but is presently inconsistent to the glove side. His curveball has all the makings of an above-average pitch and will be a solid-average pitch as he improves his command of it in the strike zone and early in counts. His changeup lags behind his fastball and curveball but flashed arm side fade and could be an overall below average pitch as he improves his command with it. Overall, Blewett will be able to get MLB hitters out with his fastball and curveball. As he improves his command, he will be a #4 starting pitcher in a big league rotation.
