Debut Details
June 25, in an 8-2 win over the Giants. The last of six pitchers, he struck out two in one scoreless inning, allowing one hit. Of 22 pitches thrown, 14 were for strikes. Coming on to start the ninth in relief of right-handed reliever Fernando Salas, he got Brandon Crawford to ground out to first base before giving up a single to left by Gorkys Hernandez. Nick Hundley then struck out swinging on three pitches. After Conor Gillaspie drew a walk, Denard Span struck out looking to end the game.

Player Notes
Originally drafted out of the University of Central Florida and now in his seventh season with the Mets, Bradford was in his fourth go-round at Las Vegas, and he's combined for a career 3.49 ERA, always in relief. In 2016, he posted a 4.80 ERA for the 51s, converting five out of six save opportunities and striking out 54 while walking 13 in 65 2/3 innings, allowing 89 hits. He's consistently shown excellent control of the strike zone -- just 82 walks in 387 career innings -- perhaps it's been a little TOO good as his career 10.1 H/9 demonstrates.
