|Santana has consistently, albeit quietly, been putting up the numbers and setting down the batters since making his pro debut in the DSL in 2014, though 2016 marked his full-season debut. That summer, he combined at three levels -- Bradenton (High A), Altoona (Double-A) and Indianapolis -- to go 4-1 with a 2.71 ERA in 43 games out of the pen, striking out 71 while walking just 19 and allowing 67 hits in 79 2/3 innings for a .229 BAA. His slider is his best pitch but his fastball has also been known to touch triple digits.|
