In the third, facing right-handed starter Jake Junis with one out, he grounded out to first base unassisted. In the fourth, with two on and two outs, he grounded out to second. In the seventh, with one on and no one out, he laid down a successful bunt to advance baserunner Ryan Goins to second. In the ninth, he led off the inning by striking out swinging against right-handed reliever Joakim Soria.|
