Debut Details
June 2, in a 12-4 win over the Rays. An eighth-inning defensive replacement at second base for starter Robinson Cano, he was 1-for-1. He came to bat in the bottom of that inning with one out and doubled to center. In the top of the ninth, he made two defensive outs, fielding a 4-3 grounder from Corey Dickerson to open the frame, and ending the game by catching a pop-up by Daniel Robertson.

Player Notes
The versatile middle infielder, who can play second base, third base, and shortstop, was drafted out of Oregon State and has moved through the ranks with a solid bat despite nominal power and average speed. In 2016 he batted .268 at Tacoma with five home runs, 37 RBIs and six steals along with 20 doubles after hitting .271 with three home runs, 32 RBIs and 10 steals at Jackson (Double-A) in 2015. He split his first full season, 2014, between High Desert (High A) and Jackson, where he combined to hit .286 with nine home runs and 44 RBIs.
