Curveball | 40 | 45 | 74-76 | 77 | 12-to-6 breaker with hump; starts early, casts out a bit. Can throw it for strikes and the arm action plays it up slightly, but gradual action overall. Showed a few at fringe average in the 3rd inning with tighter rotation for put-away, but struggles to repeat. Could get to fringe average in short stints. |

Overall Summary
Thick, mature-bodied RHP with some deception in the delivery that plays up fringy stuff. Tries to work down in the zone with a three-pitch mix and will execute a plan for stretches, but erratic command limits his pitchability. The changeup is his best secondary, and angle and sink on the fastball make him effective down in the zone; he looks to get ground balls and has some poise, but margin for error is small and the command is too inconsistent to be effective multiple times through a lineup. Value in the ground-ball rate; swingman at Double-A and Triple-A levels.
