Overall Summary
Edwards has a big and sturdy frame; a power body that is capable of rearing back for high-end velocity. The fastball sits comfortably in the 93-to-95 velo band and he compliments this with an average, yet inconsistent, slider. The mechanical issues are fixable, and I think Edwards will be able to slot into a middle-relief role even if the inconsistencies still continue as he progresses through the Royals' system.
