Fastball | |||||
Fastball | 55 | 55 | 91-93 | 94 | Has life in the zone; will turn it over and get some late tail. Uses to both sides well, comfortable locating glove side and likes to pound it in on lefties. Little bit of an extra gear when he needs it. See a touch more velo coming in shorter stints. Command: 50/60; Movement: 50/50 |

ChangeUp | |||||
ChangeUp | 40 | 45 | 83-84 83-85 | 85 | Straight change; hard and has more drift arm side than real dive/sink; showed one with some late fade. Arm action sells it a bit; inconsistent feel. Third or fourth pitch right now; given how the arm works can see it improving a half grade; used sparingly. |

Overall Summary
Potential right-handed middle reliever with smooth mechanics, advanced command of an above-average fastball to go and feel with a below average breaking ball. He has a smooth delivery with some controlled effort; adds some deception hiding the ball in back. He does a good job locating the fastball to both sides and is not afraid to work inside. The Curveball is his best secondary; it gets some hump and doesn't have great snap, but he has some feel with it, using to both righties and lefties; should be a fringe average pitch going forward. Lacks much of a weapon vs LHH; needs to develop the Change-up; it doesn't have great separation now, but given how well the arm works he should see some improvement. He doesn't walk many, keeps the ball off the barrel and gets ground balls; will work to contact, but has value in long relief role even without a plus secondary offering.
