Fastball
Fastball 45 55 87-91 91 Life in the zone with late tail to both sides. Will get some hard bore in on LHH. Quick arm and deception in arm action play up the velo. Locates to both sides with feel to change hitters' eye level. Can see him sitting in low-to-middle 90s as he adjusts to bullpen role.

Slider
Slider 45 55 78-80 80 Slurvy, big shape, but arm action and feel play up the fringe-average bite. Will use to both RHH and LHH; likes to bury down/in to RHH. Feel to add/subtract; will get some chase; chance to be above-average offering.

ChangeUp
ChangeUp 45 50 80-83 83 Circle change with hard fade. Arm action plays it up. Located down, feel to use in the strike zone in this short look. Should become a consistently average offering.

Overall Summary
Mature-bodied LHRP with a chance for three above-average pitches. Borders on a max effort, but the delivery is compact and athletic. He has a quick arm and some crossfire which add deception and play up the stuff. Is a difficult look for LHH. The fastball gets late life in the zone and can get some hard bore in on LHH. Slider and changeup both out the same as the fastball and he has feel with both. Slider is more slurvy, but has finish and he is able to add/subtract with it and likes to bury down/in to RHH for put-away. Changeup is inconsistent, but shows hard fade and should ultimately be a weapon vs RHH. A starter for most of his college career, but better suited for shorter stints in a bullpen role; see the stuff deteriorating in extended outings with the high-effort delivery. Like the aggressiveness; works quick and throws strikes; should see the command/control play up in a full-time bullpen role; chance to see more swing and miss in shorter stints as well due to matchup stuff. If he is consistent with his feel/command, should rise quickly through the system as a quality late-inning arm.
