Big, thick body; has some upper-body strength, but soft and overweight. Strong lower half, but has a few extra lbs. there as well.
Mechanical Notes
Compact arm action with small hook and wrap in back. Abbreviated windup with medium leg lift; stays tall and online. Smooth, athletic, and repeatable delivery.

Overall Summary
Big, thick RHP with a feel of a solid three-pitch mix. He is a better athlete than the body lets on; some smooth effort to the delivery. Has advanced feel for his age, plays up the stuff; pounds down in the zone and should generate some ground balls. Don't project much more velo, but see fastball command getting more consistent. Confidence with both the curveball and changeup, but the changeup is go-to; will rush the delivery at times and yank the curveball, but showed stretches of solid sequencing and execution. Bad body is a concern, maintenance will be ongoing, but he has some present strength. Aggressive in the zone, misses tend to stay down and should generate some soft contact; held velo late into outing and still had the extra gear. Chance to eat some innings in the back-end of the rotation if fastball command and feel for secondaries continue to develop.
