Mechanical Notes
Smooth, compact, but deliberate delivery; quick, easy arm action; lands a little stiff on front side; could utilize his long levers more efficiently; repeats delivery well.

Overall Summary
Briceno has a long, lanky build that has yet to add weight. 2016 will be his first full season back from Tommy John surgery, so it's possible to see his fastball gain a few ticks. Although he currently has an above-average fastball, he throws it to contact and compliments the pitch with a solid-average changeup. The breaking ball has limited feel and plays fringy. He's still a work in progress, but projects as a #3 or #4.
