Mechanical Notes
Medium arm circle; long in back with small wrap; athletic effort. Abbreviated windup with high leg lift. Has some effort, not overly smooth as he delivers the ball. 1.14/1.11 to home with slide step.

Overall Summary
Left-handed starter with a plus fastball and a chance to have two above-average secondary pitches. Has some athletic effort in the delivery and arm action, but should smooth out has he gets more innings under his belt. Aggressive in the zone with the fastball and is able to throw both slider and changeup for strikes; has an idea/plan, but inconsistent execution presently. Will need to learn to throttle up and back more effectively overall; got away from the changeup later in the outing and got predictable with the harder stuff. Slider has chance to be a weapon vs. both RHH and LHH. Has some swagger and poise; maintained stuff deep into outing. Will need to see gains in fastball command and further development of changeup to stick in rotation. Compares to Derek Holland (RHSP, TEX) at the major league level.
