On 40-Man Roster: No
Physical Description
XL frame, width to shoulders and hips, lanky limbs. Could legitmately add 25-40 more lbs., extremely projectable, still growing into big body. Built like Chris Tillman at the same age.
Mechanical Notes
Semi-windup, low leg kick, turns away at the top of delivery. Moderate effort he projects to iron out: short/closed landing, cuts himself off, limits command and FB angle. Full arm-circle, high hook at foot strike, 3/4 slot.

Fastball Value
Overall Fastball Value 40 55 Could have above-avg FB if command develops, mid-90s from imposing frame.

Fastball Movement
Fastball Movement 40 50 Flattens up in the zone, collapsed backside in delivery and low slot take away the natural angle his height provides. Flashes moderate run when timed up, suggesting he can improve FB life w/ mechanical adjustment.

Fastball Command
Fastball Command 30 50 Sprays zone, infrequent quality strikes. Occasionally hits a low spot, mostly down/away to gloveside. Athleticism and mechanical operation can allow developments.

Curveball
Curveball 40 50 74-75 72-77 Shapely down action, potential avg pitch. Has feel to add and subtract from it, mixes sharper variant in high-70s w/ loopy lollipop at 72-73 he uses for freeze strikes.

Slider
Slider 40 50 84-85 83-88 Cutter/SL pitch depending on how hard he throws it. Sharp one-plane dart to gloveside in 87-88 range; better depth and overall pitch at 83-85, where it shows like a true SL.

ChangeUp
ChangeUp 40 50 83-84 82-85 Flashes avg CH at best, still developing but shows enthusing feel for a third pitch. Throws at armspeed w/ consistent separation off FB, occasional fade. Will keep developing.

Control
Control 40 50 Mixed secondary earlier in outing during June look, was more aggressive pitching off FB late in the year. Strikes and consistency require lots of projection, but has impressive sequences where it all comes together.

Overall Summary
Raw and needs overall refinement, but has the tools to become a workhorse #4/#5 starter. Deep-projection type that will take time and has room to fall short of ceiling.
