Hit 30 40 Loose, powerful cut w/ hands+hips in-sync. Wild swing, very limited bat control and pitch ID, overmatched by AA pitching and the lack of reps due to injury shows. Projects a grade better as he adjusts to better arms, though projects as a low average, high strikeout bat.

Raw Power 70 70 Carry tool, calling-card raw power; puts on a show in BP w/ towering loft drives to all parts of the park. Rare power potential that will keep him on the prospect radar even if the hit tool takes a long time.

Overall Summary
Amazing power potential makes him a prospect, but injuries have taken their toll. Likely will have to wind up a DH/1B type, putting extreme pressure on the bat. Hit tool has a long way to go; can take steps forward as he gets more pro reps, but will always be a feast-or-famine type. On the 40-Man Roster and has already used two options; likely on an accelerated timetable that gets him to the big leagues late in 2020.
