Physical Description
Strong, physical frame; thick lower half, broad shoulders.
Mechanical Notes
Compact delivery, short arm in back; stays online; works downhill, gets good angle for his size. Some effort there, but smooth and controlled; repeats well.

Overall Summary
Right-handed reliever with a three-pitch mix that throws strikes, and has a chance to contribute in a swingman role at the big league level. He has some pitc-ability; has a plan and will move the fastball in and out and change eye level, but lacks consistent execution. Everything is around the plate and he will give up his hits; has some feel for spin, will throw for strikes and dials up tighter break when up in count; tighter breaking ball will look more like a sweepy slider at times, but I don't think that is by design. Throws a Vulcan changeup and gets fade to the arm side; has good arm action with it, deception helps play up slightly; should get to fringe average. Does a good job varying looks with runners on, works in a slide step. He is a little old for the level and makes too many mistakes in the zone with the fastball, but he has some arm strength and has the makings of an above-average breaking ball. Chance he could see a small velo spike in shorter stints. Comparable to Ross Stripling (LAD) at major league level.
