Wade is an intriguing prospect with the ability to work a walk and square pitches in all quadrants. He has some present trouble with hard velocity up in the zone, and spin down in the zone, but has above-average bat speed and feel for contact. Wade is a plus runner and his above-average reads and reactions help his ability to play shortstop at an above-average level. Power will never be a part of his game but the potential defensive versatility he brings, along with an average hit tool, projects his ceiling to be an average major league regular.
