Overall Summary
Late-inning reliever with a double-plus fastball and a chance for an above-average slider. Easy velocity on the fastball; jumps out of his hand and accelerate through the zone. Throws strikes and showed average ability to locate it to both sides of the plate. Aggressive; knows he has the big velocity and will challenge hitters. He has very long legs and high waist helping him create good angle. He does not have a true out pitch right now, as the slider is a work in progress; shows small depth, bite, but lacks feel, and usability a present concern. However, plus velocity for the pitch indicates potential to get to above average. Has seen his BB/9 number improve each of the last two plus seasons; young for Double-A level and should find more swing and miss as the slider improves.
