The 6’4” and projectable Torres has the prototypical size and strength of a corner outfielder. He makes hard contact and showed the ability to crush a mistake on multiple occasions. While the power is promising, Torres is a fringe-average athlete, and as he continues to fill out, he’ll bring limited value on defense because of his range (I did not see enough to grade the arm). His swing, however, has some groove to it, and his ability to recognize spin is an open question. Torres is a bit of a project, but the power potential is real.
