Physical Description
Lanky, athletic frame. Long legs, has some present lower-half strength. Broad shoulders, back. Room to fill out.
Mechanical Notes
Medium arm circle; free and easy; has some whip in the arm action. Hook in back with high front elbow. Small turn over the rubber and has a slight cross-fire delivery. Small drop and drive, but very athletic, stays on line with balanced finish. Will drop arm slot and cut off out front at times.

Overall Summary
Lanky, athletic #3 starter with a chance to have above-average command/control of three above-average pitches. Loose, easy arm action; not a max-effort guy. Aggressive; works quick and pounds the zone with ability to get ground balls. Fastball shows late tail to both sides, good moving in and out, will get some turn-over sink down/in to RHH. Will drop arm at times and work uphill and gets hittable; but makes in-game adjustments, aware of rhythm keys in mechanics. Should see fastball command getting to above average now that he's two years removed from Tommy John surgery. Present feel with the slider; above-average to plus for put-away. Showed changeup late in this outing, inconsistent, but ingredients there to project as above average. Extra gear with runners in scoring position; not scared, fiery competitor. Fields position well, body control off the mound. Plus athlete with awareness.
