Overall Summary
Right-handed, late-inning reliever with a power arm that and chance for a plus slider and ability to generate some swing and miss. Strong, athletic kid with some deception in the delivery and a quick arm that plays up the velo. Shows feel for spin and ability to change shape on the slider. Works quick and works down in the zone; gets ground balls (2.07 GB rate for career). Will have stretches where he cuts himself off out front and loses the fastball up and to arm side, and has a track record of high walk rates, though he has seen steady improvement there; works quick and can locate glove side with ease when going well. Looks fully healthy for first time since 2013; can see him getting to fringe-average command/control.
