Fastball | 55 | 60 | 89-94 | 95 | Quick arm, creates some life in the zone; gets sink to arm side. Pounds it down in the zone and will show a heavy ball at times. Really struggles to get it glove side; occasional cutter to glove side, but very inconsistent feel. |

Slider | |||||
Slider | 40 | 45 | 79-84 | 86 | Variations from 3/4 to cutter break; majority are loose, gradual. Flashed average with 3/4 depth and some bite, but very inconsistent; lack of extension has it flatten out and back-up often. Arm action plays up the good one when he gets out front; can see him finding a little more consistency in short stints. |

Overall Summary
Slender RHRP with a plus fastball, but who lacks much usable secondary. His arm works well, and he creates some angle to go with some heavy arm-side sink, but has trouble repeating his release point, and has his soft front side keep him from consistently getting extension. Poor command in the zone; sits arm side, trouble working in on lefties and gets very predictable. Slider is the best secondary offering; has some variations with it, but see that more as inconsistency rather than by design. Shows a good one on occasion; can see it getting to fringe average, but usability a concern. Did not show much fight on the mound, bad body language; not sure he really knows how to compete; struggled to make adjustments. Advanced age for the level, but has been on a different development track in Cuba so he could be a bit behind. Overall, the arm strength and life on the FB is there, but not sure that the secondary will develop enough to allow him to work through a lineup multiple times. Could be convinced he gets to Role 40 if he can locate the FB to the glove side and is more consistent with the Sld.
