Debut Details
June 25, in an 8-4 loss to the Cardinals. Pinch-hitting for right-handed reliever Trevor Rosenthal in the seventh against right-handed reliever Jhan Marinez, he was hit by a pitch with two outs and a full count. He was stranded when Matt Carpenter grounded out 6-3 to end the inning.

Player Notes
Drafted out of Missouri State University, Voit has put up consistently strong numbers across the board while somehow staying under the radar before his well-deserved promotion two-plus months into his Triple-A debut. In 2016 he batted .297 with 19 home runs and 74 RBIs along with 74 doubles at Springfield (Double-A), posting a .372 OBP and .477 SLG in 134 games. In 2015, at Palm Beach (High A), he'd hit .273 with 11 home runs and 77 RBIs in 130 games, after batting .276 with nine homers and 51 RBIs for the same club in 2014.
