Physical Description
Medium frame w/ square, compact build that's strong through hips and shoulders. Young face w/ softness throughout that will firm up into muscle at maturity.
Mechanical Notes
SWU; tall leg kick w/ slight turn at the top, high+closed front side adds deception to hide the ball. Off-line arm-circle w/ hooked wrist on backside leads into fast, strong H3/4 stroke.

Fastball Velocity 45 50 90-91 89-93 Starts games w/ avg velo before settling in at 90-91. Can grow into a bit more velo as frame matures and air it out from the 'pen.

Fastball Command
Fastball Command 40 45 Control over command, throws consistent strikes w/ FB but drifts up into the zone without the velocity or life to pitch there. Feel for the zone allows some command projection.

Curveball
Curveball 45 50 79 78-81 Best pitch, tunnels well off FB and throws w/ power to. Late action and two-plane finish at best, occasionally stays up on him and hangs. Ingredients here for solid big league breaker.

ChangeUp
ChangeUp 30 40 81 80-82 Lacks faith, doesn't show much and needs to sequence more. Lack of third pitch could hasten his move from rotation.

Cutter
Cutter 40 45 86 85-88 Wrinkles occasional cutter, new pitch this year w/ developing feel. Could bail out lack of true third offering if CH doesn't come around.

Control
Control 40 50 Leans heavily on FB/CB mix, both around the plate and goes to breaking ball often. Short arsenal likely hurts him back through lineups against better bats. Enough control to start if he can add another pitch; strkethrowing would be above-avg for RP if in 'pen.

Overall Summary
Best-case ceiling of a backend SP, but shorter frame and strong two-pitch mix that's struggling to miss bats from the rotation hint at a future 'pen move. Can see him filling a middle relief or multi-inning swingman role down the road. High floor, should reach ML level if he stays healthy.
